DSET TERM & CONDITIONS

1. Attendance & Eligibility
Public Sector Tickets: "Serving Military, Government, and Academia" rates apply strictly to direct employees of those public organizations.
Security: You must carry a valid photographic ID at all times. Security checks may be conducted.
Dress Code: Business attire for civilians; Daily Working Dress for military personnel.
Non-Transferable: Once a pass has cleared our verification process, it cannot be transferred to another individual.
2. Privacy & Data Usage
Core Processing: By registering, you agree that Ruddy Nice Ltd will process your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy to send event updates and relevant product information.
Lead Retrieval (Badge Scanning): If you allow an exhibitor or partner to scan your badge, you are explicitly consenting to provide them with your contact details. They will process your data under their own privacy policies. To opt-out, contact the organisers.
GDPR Compliance: All personal data is managed strictly under UK GDPR/GDPR (EU) 2016/679 standards.
3. Exhibitor & Sponsor Obligations
Payment: Participation is only confirmed upon receipt of full payment. Ruddy Nice Ltd reserves the right to replace exhibitors and or sponsors if payment is delayed.
Insurance: Exhibitors are solely responsible for their equipment and materials. You must maintain adequate public liability insurance and indemnify Ruddy Nice Ltd against any damage (wilful or deliberate), injury, or theft occurring on-site.The exhibitor must carry insurance to cover these risks along with adequate public liabilities insurance.
Stand Use: Stand space is for the contracted sponsor’s use only. Sub-letting or sharing space requires express written permission from Ruddy Nice Ltd.
Arrangement Of Stands: Ruddy Nice Ltd will make every effort to ensure that the event proceeds as smoothly as possible for sponsors and exhibitors. However, in the event of unforeseen circumstances, Ruddy Nice Ltd reserves the right to make changes to the layout of the stands if required.
Early Breakdown Penalty: To maintain professional integrity and safety, stands must remain fully operational until 16:00 on Thursday. Dismantling early will result in a £1,000 surcharge.
4. Cancellations & Alterations
Speaker/Programme Changes: We reserve the right to alter the programme or speakers due to circumstances beyond our control.
Substitutions: Personnel substitutions from exhibitors are permitted at any time; please notify us immediately.
Exhibitor Cancellations: Cancellations made after acceptance are non-refundable. Digital event documentation and promotional obligations will still be fulfilled where possible.
5. Force Majeure & Event Cancellation
If at the absolute discretion of Ruddy Nice Ltd, the Halls shall become unfit or unavailable for occupancy or it becomes impossible or impractical to hold the Exhibition for reasons beyond the control of Ruddy Nice Ltd including (without limitation) fire, flood, storm, government intervention, pandemic, malicious damage, acts of war, acts of terrorism, acts of God, strikes, riots or any other cause, Ruddy Nice Ltd reserves the right (but shall not be obliged):
(a) to change the location and/or date of the Exhibition;
(b) to curtail the Exhibition;
(c) to reduce the Installation Period, Open Period or Dismantling Period; or
(d) to cancel the Exhibition.
In the circumstances specified in paragraphs a, b and c of this section the parties agree and acknowledge that Ruddy Nice Ltd shall not have any liability to the Exhibitor for refunds, additional expenses or charges or to make payment for any other loss or damage suffered by the Exhibitor.
If the Exhibition is cancelled in accordance with paragraph d of this section the Exhibitor agrees to accept in complete settlement and discharge of all claims against Ruddy Nice Ltd a pro-rata share of the total amount paid by all exhibitors at the Exhibition, less all costs and expenses incurred by the Organiser in connection with the Exhibition including a reserve, established at the sole discretion of Ruddy Nice Ltd, for future claims and expenses in connection with the Exhibition.
In the event that the Exhibition is cancelled by Ruddy Nice Ltd for any other commercial reason including (without limitation) the lack of support for the Exhibition Ruddy Nice Ltd will refund to the Exhibitor all charges paid by the Exhibitor to Ruddy Nice Ltd and the Exhibitor agrees and acknowledges that he will have no further claim whatsoever against Ruddy Nice Ltd in respect of such cancellation.
